The Critical Care Society of Southern Africa (CCSSA) is a not-for-profit organisation for professional doctors and nurses in Critical Care Medicine founded in South Africa in the late 1970s. The Society is administered by volunteers from the professional community.
The Nurses’ Forum is a new structure within the Critical Care Society of Southern Africa. This section of the website is a new addition and will take some time to develop fully. The, projects, committee, membership and publications section of the site have yet to be completed. However, the news section has some preliminary information available.
There are 6 branches of CCSSA representing the 9 provinces of South Africa. All branches are run purely by volunteering medical professionals. The web presence of these branches varies on this site depending on the size and activity of the branches. Links to individual branches are on the webpage after clicking the button below.
